At Omineca Diamond Drilling Ltd. and Omineca Drilling USA, safety is not just a priority, it is a core value and an essential part of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, clients, and partners. Through comprehensive training programs, we ensure all personnel understand and comply with applicable health and safety regulations before entering any worksite.

Our commitment to safety is supported by rigorous procedures, proactive risk management, and a culture of continuous improvement. We maintain a comprehensive Health, Safety, Environment, and Operations (HSEO) program that establishes clear standards and expectations for all employees. Compliance with these policies is mandatory and reinforced through regular training, pre-shift safety meetings, and pre-operational equipment inspections.

To strengthen our safety management systems, we utilize SiteDocs Safety Management Software for employee reporting and documentation, as well as ISNetworld (ISN) for client safety reporting and contractor management. These tools help ensure accountability, transparency, and consistent safety performance across all operations.

Omineca has consistently maintained a WorkSafeBC assessment rate significantly below industry averages, reflecting our strong safety culture and commitment to incident prevention. We are also proud to maintain an “A” Contractor Rating with ISN, demonstrating our dedication to meeting and exceeding industry safety standards.

Our drilling crews maintain all certifications required for their assigned work, including First Aid, Transportation Endorsement, WHMIS, Fall Protection , and other job-specific training and certifications. We ensure our personnel are properly qualified and prepared to work safely in a variety of environments and project conditions.
